Refugees, climate change, arms treaties, poverty, vegan-ism, saving the environment. It’s great that you’re interested in it, but for the love of god get off your moral high horse about it.
The simple fact is: I think that some refugees are just queue jumping, climate change is something that we’re not going to be able to stop, people are always going to want to kill other people and there’s nothing wrong with a massive t-bone steak. And I like it that way.
That doesn’t make me a bad person. It just means I have a different opinion to you, and if you’re so open about then you’ll recognise that and not attempt to convince me that because of my ways I’ll burn in hell for all eternity.
People who evangelise on issues like these and think that anyone who doesn’t adhere to their way of thinking are, frankly, just as bad as those they speak out against. Life is all about balance. If you’d stop to consider other ideas then perhaps I’d be a little more receptive to what you had to say. But, because you’re all closed minded gits, I won’t be giving you the time of day.
Until you stop, and realise that your way isn’t the only way, and certainly isn’t the best way, then I’m afraid that the moral high ground is mine.
Perpetuating what you’re railing against in the last para, which does nothing to make me want to change my behaviour.
Granted, it’s your rant, but you invite comment so these are my 2c.
