Generally, when you advertise something as being live, it means FUCKING LIVE. 30 minute delays are not live. When you say something is live and then proceed to show it on delay you are lying. Please stop lying.
Also, your choice of timing of your advertisement breaks is utterly woefull. Having a break in the middle of a race that’s a mere six laps long is completely unacceptable. If you cut back on the pointless “gossip” pieces and just showed the racing you’d be able to manage this.
Now, I managed to watch Friday practise for the Formula 1 in Newcastle without your help. If this is how you’re going to continue treating me as a viewer then I’m going to keep doing that. I realise that you need viewers in order to fund your coverage, but on the flip side, we need decent coverage to make it worth watching. If you’re going to keep treating your viewers (especially the enthusiasts that will make or break a channel like One) with such contempt then you’re going to lose out. I’m not going to watch delayed, ad interrupted racing. I’m going to go and watch delayed, ad-free racing from Bit Torrent.
Further more, I’ve just discovered that I’m not getting the V8 Supercar race that’s on after qualifying. This is also unacceptable. So, not only are we not getting the majority of the support races live, we’re not getting the race by the main Australian motor racing series. This is just pathetic.
Fuck you Ten. After this weekend, I will not be using your TV network to watch any form of motorsport. You had your chance, you chose to fuck me over. So fuck you. I’ve refuse to be treated with such loathing by a company that relies on me using them for their very existence.
